Rare Vintage "Ingrid's Silver" Shop Sterling Silver Carved Agate / Jade Face Pin Brooch. Fab vintage piece. A nice heavy green stone either agate or jade caved into a face. Set within a sterling silver frame forming hair, ears, and a collar. Ingrid's was a shop retailing jewelry and hollowware in Mexico in the 1930' and 40's. Some of Jorge "Chato" Castillo's designs were sold at Ingrid's. Chato was the talented brother of Antonio Castillo. Jorge "Chato" was one of William Spratling's most accomplished apprentices. Many of his early prototypes for pieces produced by Los Castillo. This wonderful pin could possibly be unsigned Chato.

The pin is marked Ingrid's Silver. The pin measures 1 3/4" high by 1 3/4" wide. Overall condition for age is excellent. Your chance to own an early rare Mexico sterling piece.
