Antique 12k GF Rhinestone Faux Pearls Pin Pendant Providence Stock Company Art Deco Era

$ 85.00

Vintage Art Deco Era Providence Stock Company 12K Gold Filled Paste Rhinestone & Faux Pearls Pendant Pin Combination, Circa 1930's. This wonderful vintage brooch can also be worn as a pendant. The pendant has an Edwardian or Art Nouveau style with nice curves. The center focal point is a black glass oval with a center set paste rhinestone. Below the focal point are additional rhinestones and faux pearls. Very tastefully designed.

The back of the bail is marked PR ST co. 1/20 - 12k GF. It was made by the Providence Stock Company in Rhode Island in or about the 1930's. The pin pendant measures 1 7/8" high by 1 3/8' wide. Overall condition is good for it's age. Gold is nice and shiny and shows no great loss. The paste rhinestones have greyed and the faux pearls have lost some of their outer coating. Some of them have been replaced I think. Small amount of glue residue as well as two look grey and three look white. Still is has a fabulous look about it. Looks like an antique heirloom piece. Wear it on a chain or pin it on a lapel or handbag!
